Presentation Evening

On Saturday evening Harlow Town Football Club announced the end of season awards for the 2011/12 season, Chairman Mr John Barnett started the evening with a thank you to all players, officials and match day staff along with the supporters, he handed over proceedings to the Hawks assistant Manager Christian Wheeler whom in turn thanked all the staff that help out on match days and beyond, also to all the players that wore the Red strip over the season. Christian & Danny Chapman also made a special thank you to Sue Crowley and Jill Dumoulin presenting them each with a bouquet of flowers. Ilford 1 v 2 Harlow Town

A goal in each half by Daniel Elmes and Mark Taylor gave the Hawks 3 points to end there season in 7th position. Elmes headed home from close range after Reece Dobson headed towards goal, but it deflected off an Ilford defender and Elmes was on hand to head home. Mark Taylor doubled the lead when his cross come shot found the back of the net with Reece Dobson trying to connect with it at the back post. Harlow Town 3 v 2 Thamesmead Town

HARLOW Town certainly made hard work of it as they wrapped up their Ryman division one north home campaign with a 3-2 win over mid-table Thamesmead Town on Saturday The hosts went in front through Reece Dobson on 18 minutes. He hammered a brilliant shot into the top right corner from the left edge of the box. But the visitors were level after a great finish from Theo Fairweather-Johnson into the top left corner on 26 minutes following poor defending from Harlow left-back Michael Deane. Presentation Night and Supporters v First Team Squad

On Saturday 5th May 2012 there will be a supporters v HTFC first team squad match kicking off at 3pm, anybody wishing to play that day should contact Ray Dyer or John McClelland so that we can put your name down. Harlow Town 2 v 3 Waltham Forest

Harlow Town’s play-off hopes ended when they lost at home to Waltham Forest in Ryman League division one north on Saturday The defeat was Harlow’s third in a row and left them in 8th spot and nine points behind the last play-off spot (fifth) with just two matches left. In losing the Hawks surrendered a two-goal lead. A penalty converted by Piers Wixon after Reece Dobson was brought don in the area on 12 minutes then a well taken goal by Danny Elmes on 29 minutes gave the Hawks a 2-0 lead.
